Collaboration among the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jiangsu Danhua Group, and Shanghai Jinmei Chemical Industry. Annual production capacity: 200,000 tons per year; the raw material used is lignite. Status: Trial operation began in September 2009. Location: Tongliao, Inner Mongolia. Process route: Indirect synthesis method (oxalate synthesis method)
I’m not very optimistic about this project. It seems that the one in Tongliao still hasn’t had a test drive yet. I would also appreciate any advice from those who are aware of this.

The ethylene glycol project in Anhua, after being acquired by Henan Coal Chemical, is now a project carried out by Henan Coal Chemical; construction is likely to begin around July. The specific manufacturing processes are not clear, nor is it known what type of gasifier will be used.
