There is currently a nylon 66 salt solution storage tank that requires heating due to the properties of the material. How should the foundation be designed to minimize heat loss? I would be very grateful for your answer
In fact, the heat dissipation from the bottom of the tank is very low. I’m not sure what your storage temperature is; generally, if the temperature inside the tank exceeds 90 degrees, red bricks can be used at the bottom to provide insulation. But this is mainly to protect the underlying asphalt sand cushion.
Thank you. The temperature inside the tank is around 80 degrees. The current approach is to create a circular foundation, lay aluminum silicate at the bottom layer, then add a layer of sand and stones, and finally place the storage tank on top
