The HCl-H2S-H2O corrosion that occurs at the top of distillation towers and in the condensation cooling systems during crude oil processing severely affects the proper operation of the equipment. This product uses organic amines as its main corrosion-inhibiting component, possessing both neutralizing and film-forming functions; it can effectively prevent corrosive agents from damaging metals, and it is also effective against the corrosion caused by naphthenic acids and carbon monoxide. Due to the surfactant effect of the corrosion inhibitor, the binding force between the precipitates and the metal surface is reduced, causing the precipitates to become looser, which in turn has a cleaning effect on them. Usage method ☆ It is recommended that the addition amount generally not exceed 60µg/g; users should adjust the amount according to the properties of the crude oil being processed, as well as its water content and sulfur content. ☆ This corrosion inhibitor is a composite, multi-functional type; no ammonia needs to be added when using it, and clean water can be used to adjust the pH of the wastewater to between 6 and 8. ☆ During use, iron ion levels in the wastewater discharged by the device are regularly tested to assess the effectiveness of the corrosion inhibitor, with the iron ion content in the wastewater not exceeding 3 mg/l.
