There are many heat exchangers in HeatX. What do the -HT and -HS designations mean, and what is the difference between them?
HS – indicates that the HOT STREAM is on the shell side, while HT – indicates that it is on the tube side. However, this has no practical significance, as all icons in the HEATX model serve the same purpose; the existence of so many icons is merely to make the diagrams more intuitive, with the actual data still being entered in the setup settings.
