1. Now I am doing a job of caustic soda. I don’t know what material should be used to transport liquid caustic soda. The concentration of caustic soda is ≥50% or more, and the temperature reaches about 400°. 2. What material is used for the pump? The process conditions are quite harsh. 30% of the alkali is electrolyzed at about 85 degrees, using nickel. You can go to the chlor-alkali chemical sector to ask this question.
Can be used: Carbon steel (slightly cheaper) ; Monel alloy steel (slightly more expensive) For pumps, you can consider carbon steel
The usual material selection for alkali pipes is cold pipe 304 and heat pipe 310. This condition is quite stringent and beyond my capabilities. I look forward to experts’ answers.

400℃ caustic soda, what kind of process is this! The conditions are too harsh. Generally, the temperature of the alkali solution is not high, so just use a liner for the pipe!
A plastic-lined pump will suffice. Is the temperature of the material in the pump also so high?
What kind of process is it? 50 alkali can still get 400 degrees. How much pressure is required? It should be anhydrous alkali. Just use carbon steel.
