It is actually possible to reach this pressure; we haven’t applied such a high pressure to the hydrogen
100 kPa can be achieved; rotary vane compressors are a type of compressor that operates on a volume flow basis, and the high outlet pressure leads to an increase in the inlet pressure as well. Therefore, if you want to increase the outlet pressure, you must do so while maintaining the inlet pressure; otherwise, the flow rate cannot be guaranteed, and the inlet pressure will also not be maintained. Roots blowers are not suitable for operation at high pressure ratios.
For rotary vane blowers, the single-stage pressure difference is generally at most 1 bar, which is determined by their principle of operation. Because the Roots blower does not generate pressure on its own; its pressure is created by resisting the system backpressure. At pressures above 1 bar, the temperature rise of the Roots blower will **exceed the allowable limits; the strength of the blower rotor will be affected, and the rotor may deform and come into contact with the casing, thereby severely compromising the safe operation of the machine.
