Issue with the import directory for the Power Student program

This post was last edited by lxxu665 on 2009-11-26 21:20. While trying to use a self-written dynamics subroutine in *aspen, I encountered issues regarding how to call this subroutine. The documentation for the Aspen user model describes the process as follows: Before starting a run that makes use of Fortran user models, you must: 1. Write the user models. 2. Compile these user models using the aspcomp procedure. 3. Link the user models into a Fortran shared library using the asplink procedure (this step is optional). 4. Provide the object files or shared library to the Aspen Plus system. It is also stated that the simplest way to supply Fortran user models to Aspen Plus is to place the object module files resulting from the aspcomp command in the run directory. By default, whenever Aspen Plus launches a subprocess to link a Fortran shared library specific to a particular run, it includes all object module files from that run directory. I believe the specific steps are as follows: 1. Write the dynamic simulation program in Fortran, with the file extension *.f ； 2. Use aspcomp to compile *.f to obtain *.obj files (I don’t know which directory the *.obj files will be saved in; is it the “run directory”? ） ； 3. Save the *.obj file obtained in step 2 in the “the run directory”” ； 4. Run the simulation to obtain the results. My question is: Which directory exactly is the “run directory” mentioned in Step 3? I earnestly ask for the guidance of experts.
