When creating the database in PDSoft, the 90° elbows for DN20-40 were already described in the grade specifications, and they are also available for lookup in the grade database. However, when drawing pipelines of DN20, the elbows cannot be displayed directly; the system indicates that no suitable component was found. But it can be inserted manually. I don’t know what the reason is. Please help me with advanced math and point out where the problem lies.
I’ve encountered this problem too; it’s probably caused by a bug within the software. This kind of software is quite complex, and domestic software companies are generally not very strong; before such software reaches the market, there are few so-called alpha and beta tests, which is why it has many minor flaws. When I used PDSOFT, it often behaved in unpredictable ways.

I saw in the level browsing that ELBOW is sw90, yes, but it still doesn’t work; there’s no other choice but to insert them one by one

We have been using PDSoft, and such problems occur from time to time. Use a different type instead.
This is a socket weld elbow; under the piping configuration settings, there is a parameter setting for elbows, and by selecting “Socket”, a socket weld elbow will be applied automatically.
Yes, when piping is laid directly, the system defaults to welding; for pipes under 40, socket fitting must be selected.
The answer above is correct; for sizes below DN40, when selecting socket-welded fabric pipes, socket-welded elbows are used by default, and welded elbows are not chosen by default, which is why automation is not possible! There are checkboxes in the software.
As the original poster said, switch to socket-and-spigot. Just change them one by one.
