There are two installation discs for the CS3000; is it okay not to use the second disc?
Sure! It’s just an electronic manual; you can simply skip it during installation.
If the hard drive has sufficient space, and it is an engineer station or a computer used for projects, it is highly recommended to install it. Because the second disc is an electronic guide; it covers topics such as hardware (selection, installation, maintenance), software (installation and configuration), and peripherals. Imagine how great it would be to have plenty of documentation at hand when dealing with system issues on-site
Yokogawa’s online help search function is very poor; it doesn’t matter whether it’s installed or not. The electronic manual from HONYWELL is still better.
