To put it plainly, it’s just out of reluctance, out of habit – isn’t that the same as going to a restaurant? ──Why be so persistent in life? ! Question 2: If you accidentally lose 100 dollars and only know that it seems to be somewhere you’ve been, would you spend 200 dollars on a ride just to get those 100 dollars back? Answer: A super stupid question. Yet, similar things keep happening in life. Doing something wrong, knowing one has a problem, yet refusing to admit it at all; instead, spending double the time coming up with excuses, which greatly damages how others perceive that person. Being shouted at results in spending countless hours feeling sad; it’s the same principle. Getting angry over something, willing to harm others and harm oneself in the process, willing to spend money and time all for revenge – isn’t that equally pointless? Losing someone’s affection, knowing that nothing can be undone, still causes such pain; and that pain lasts for years, forcing one to turn to alcohol to ease the sorrow, until one becomes emaciated. Actually, this is of no use at all; it only leads to more losses. ──As a person, why make things difficult for yourself? ! Question 3: Would you be too afraid to go outside if, by opening the newspaper, you saw that there are car accidents every day? Answer: What is this crappy question? Of course not; that would be throwing away the food because of a problem with swallowing it. However, many people have said that with the high divorce rate these days, they don’t even dare to fall in love. It’s said as if it’s entirely natural. There are also many women who, after reading various reports on the subject, become worried about their partners – isn’t that a similar reaction? Optimism means believing that even though the path is full of difficulties, I am still the person who can cross the road safely; as long as I am careful, there’s no need to be afraid of crossing it. ──To be a person, one must first believe in oneself. Question 4: Do you believe that anyone can succeed in building a career just by chance? Answer: Of course not.
