How to conduct accurate statistics when keeping equipment records, and in what format? For example, when measuring the height of a desorption tower, does it include the skirt at the bottom of the tower and the outlet flange?

Go and check the equipment drawings; its total height includes the flange surfaces of the upper and lower end caps as well as those of the skirt. For creating spreadsheets, devices can be divided into several categories, such as pumps, machines, heat exchangers, towers, containers, and so on. Within each category, information such as size, weight, shell, tubes, core, cylinder, head, material, pressure, and process parameters like pressure, temperature, and medium (including those for design and operation) are listed. Process-related details include flow rate, heat load, heat transfer coefficient, head, power, efficiency, lubricating oil/grease, as well as the date of purchase, manufacturer, and manufacturer’s contact information. Just fill in the information one by one; if you want more details or want to add extra columns, use the “Insert Column” option. This is for reference only.
Experts on the 2nd floor, is your equipment registry really that detailed? Our equipment technical records are quite detailed, but the inventory logs are by no means that detailed; otherwise, they would be extremely thick
