Treatment of wastewater containing ethylene oxide

There is some wastewater containing ethylene oxide used for disinfection at the moment; I’m not sure if there are any ways to treat or recycle it. Please help, everyone.
The experimental production unit for treating ethylene oxide saponification wastewater adopts a process flow that includes precipitation and concentration, vacuum dehydration, and biological contact oxidation, and it is capable of effectively addressing the issues related to the treatment of saponification wastewater with high pH values and high salt content, as well as the comprehensive utilization of lime waste residues. Its main technical specifications are as follows: wastewater treatment capacity of 43 m³/h; processing capacity of the vacuum filter: 720 kg on a dry basis per m³·h ； COD removal rate: 75–80% ； BOD removal rate > 90%. The successful operation of this device has created conditions for further development in the production of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, and it has played a positive role in reducing water pollution and protecting the environment.
