The inner diameter of my container is 700, with a wall thickness of 12. I selected the BI700 model from the saddle support standard JBT4712.1-2007, as shown in the figure below. However, when drawing the web, I found that if the two sides of the web are perpendicular to the bottom plate, the connection between the upper part of the web and the gusset plate does not match what is shown in the standard – it cannot intersect that 120° line. I tried using an inner diameter of 800 and a wall thickness of 12, but encountered the same problem. If the two sides of the web are not perpendicular to the bottom plate, the standard also does not specify the distance shown in the figure below. Has anyone encountered this situation? What should be done? Thank you!
I knew this already a long time ago; I just need to make a few adjustments. It’s like turning an acute angle into an obtuse one.
If chamfering is possible, do so; if not, draw it at a 1:1 scale based on the actual dimensions
Just use the dimensions specified in the standards; there’s no need for it to look exactly the same, right?
2# Wen Bing: Oh, then I wonder whether it should be drawn as a vertical bottom line, or with diagonal lines that intersect at an angle of 120°. If they don’t intersect, then don’t those two lines at 120° lose their meaning?
