Is it clearly stated in the **relevant regulations?** Personally, I think: if it’s the case, it must be due to the residual paint in the bucket. In that case, isn’t the paint applied to the surfaces of various metal materials also dangerous?
If it’s not dangerous, it still poses a threat to the environment. It can’t be thrown around carelessly.
In accordance with the provisions of the \"Administrative Measures for Permits for the Handling of Hazardous Wastes\" and the \"Administrative Measures for Transfer Forms of Hazardous Wastes\", paint residues, used rags (oiled), paint-containing waste liquids, used paint buckets, and filter cotton (oiled) are considered hazardous wastes.
