At the end of last month, since I hadn’t had any menial tasks like sweeping or carrying water for two full months, it made me extremely frustrated to see others busy. Since no one was in charge, I simply stopped showing up for work without needing to ask for leave. That’s how things are in state-owned enterprises: they pay you to sit there, which is truly agonizing. On top of that, I went on a trip for about five days over the weekends; after returning, I was in a good mood and started reading again. I made some plans for studying, as well as job hunting plans – at a large design institute. . . Although I know that state-owned enterprises do require time to adapt to, offer good benefits and a relaxed work environment, they might be suitable for different people. When I first started working, I needed some motivation to keep going; now I find the work too lazy-paced, it’s difficult to concentrate, and I feel I can’t handle even a little pressure. I wish everyone well, as well as those who are looking for jobs or studying
Haha, I almost thought about skipping work just now, but I managed to hold back in the end.
That’s how state-owned enterprises are – one has to be able to endure loneliness! One needs to have a positive attitude!
Actually, everyone thinks the same: with the same amount of money, why is it that they always ask me to do the work when there’s work to be done? I’m wondering if I’ll end up like this too in the future?
Is it okay to do this? Although I don’t have a job, I guess I won’t dare to do it at that time
