The conversion of STC in polycrystalline production is a very problematic issue; currently, hydrogenation is used to convert it into TCS in most closed-loop processes, but the one-time conversion efficiency is low; I heard that large companies abroad convert STC into silica with high added value. Does anyone know anything about this process of converting it into silica? Also, what is the conversion rate for your hydrogenation reduction?
Our company does have it, but the production volume is not high, and the quality of the product varies significantly; what’s most important are the specific surface area and pH value
Most of the silica in China comes from Guangzhou Jibisheng; due to backward technology and widespread replication, silica is now following in the footsteps of polysilicon, with low-level repetitive construction taking place.

Cold hydrogenation is designed to achieve 25%, but in practice this level is not reached; too little STC is used for silica, so it is not possible to produce silicon tetrachloride from the reactions that take place. This is true unless the scale of polycrystalline silicon production is very small
Does anyone know where South Glass’s silica gel technology comes from? I heard that the products produced using this technology sell well
