Must a Class A compressor room be interlocked with an exhaust fan?

In fire protection design, combustible gas detectors are installed in Class A compressor rooms; is it necessary to interlock them with exhaust fans once an alarm is triggered in the control room? Is this not specified in the compressor specifications? I also checked other relevant standards, but couldn’t find it. I think fellow sailors with more experience than me surely know that there are clear regulations regarding this, so I hope you can point it out for me
Since combustible gas detectors have been installed, interlocking with emergency exhaust systems remains necessary; it is a quite effective measure! Otherwise, you only know that the concentration of hazardous gases has exceeded the limit – but is shutting down the equipment really the solution? It’s not realistic, right? After all, safety first! ! Regulations are also in place to prevent accidents; ambiguity does not mean that no effective measures will be taken...
