May I ask about the principles for selecting valves for pressure pipelines? For example, if the pressure is 2.2 megapascals, what rating should the valve have, and what is the basis for this decision?
As long as the valve selected has a pressure rating higher than that of the medium, it will work. It doesn’t have to be that much higher.
For example, for a pressure of 2.2 MPa, what magnitude of MPa should be used for the valve? What is the basis for this decision? A valve with a pressure rating of 2.5 MPa should be chosen, and the basis for this is the definition and selection criteria for nominal pressures of piping components as specified in GB/T1048-2005
In addition to operating pressure, factors such as temperature and the properties of the medium must also be taken into account to ensure both safety and cost-effectiveness!
