The bottom bricks in the carbonization chamber of our factory have been severely damaged due to friction from coke pushing; could everyone help analyze the reasons?
Could it be that the height of the coke pushing rod is not appropriate – too low – or that the unevenness of the bottom of the carbonization chamber during construction is to blame?
Is the bottom of all the carbonization chambers worn out? Is the location the same? It depends on the specific circumstances: 1. There are issues with the quality of the furnace bottom bricks; 2. The coke pushing rod is at the same level as the bottom of the carbonization chamber; 3. If it’s at the furnace head area, ceramic welding can be used for repair, and the results are good
Is this the case as soon as the new coke ovens start operating, or does it only occur with the old coke ovens? If it is a new coke oven, then in addition to the coke pushing rod, the issue could also lie in the elevation of the furnace bottom; if it is the latter, then there is likely a problem with the main coke pushing rod.
I think the coke pushing speed is uneven~
It could be a problem with the quality of the bricks at the bottom, or it might be water from the rising pipe that has gotten in. It could also be that there is a problem with the push rod and coal support plate of the coke pushing and coal loading vehicle.
There is only one carbonization chamber; the coke oven has been in operation for 6 years. The pusher and related equipment have been checked, and there are no issues; the quality of the bricks is also fine
Where exactly is this pit?
Could you be more specific about the situation? How is production being maintained at the moment? Has anything metal fallen in?
I’ve talked to some silicon brick manufacturers, and it seems to be a problem with the quality of the bricks. National standards set requirements regarding the wear resistance of silica bricks; some manufacturers’ bricks may not meet these requirements or may be only at the threshold specified by the standards. Besides, your coke oven has been in use for 6 years now; it was in 2003 that operations at the coke oven really got underway, so it’s normal for the quality of silica bricks to have declined over time. Additionally, the issue with the device is secondary.
Quality issues with bricks account for 90%, while failure to address them in a timely manner accounts for 10%.
