Corrosion of the chemical production pump shaft

The parts of various chemical process pumps where mechanical seals are installed are often corroded, which leads to leakage in the pumps. Replacing the shaft is expensive, and repairs don’t meet the requirements. Do anyone have any good suggestions?
The 316 material is chosen to reduce the number of intermediate steps
It’s probably corrosion of the bushing; the shaft doesn’t come into contact with the medium
Shaft sleeve or shaft plasma spraying – cemented carbide or ceramic
The shaft does not come into contact with the medium, and there are problems with the seals at various parts of the shaft
