The new capacity regulations have been implemented; is re-testing required when using foreign welding materials?
It is said that there is a 1-year transition period; our company doesn’t have one yet. However, it’s no problem to start implementing it now. Conduct analyses of the chemical composition based on each furnace batch, test the mechanical properties for each batch, and keep proper records
Welding materials generally do not require re-inspection; a material certificate is sufficient.
Re-inspection isn’t necessary; I’ve never heard before that welding materials need to be re-inspected. The new regulations can be followed according to clause 2.12
