How to do a good job in piping design/

First, work under the guidance of experienced engineers; it’s impossible to explain things simply – one has to keep exploring and drawing conclusions as they work.
2# dj1_ren, proper piping design is a systematic task that needs to be integrated with the manufacturing process; it’s easier to carry out when there is practical experience, but it becomes very difficult in the absence of such experience.
If you are a beginner, you should first learn to read *drawings and become familiar with the specifications
Be diligent at work, and spend your free time reading widely
Learn more*, work harder. Read a wide range of materials, such as installation manuals and the like.
While working with senior engineers, one should also read relevant books; if possible, go to the work site more often to gain some on-site experience
All the people I mentioned above have suggested starting with CAD – by creating layout drawings for equipment and pipelines. By referring to relevant standards while drawing, you will gain a great deal from it.
