There are many tortuous chambers between the rotating parts and the fixed parts, and the fluid generates turbulence in the middle to form a seal.

The type of labyrinth seal has been explained very clearly above. The principle is generally introduced. Gas leaks in through the gaps between the comb teeth to form a vortex. Through many comb teeth, the energy gradually decreases, achieving a sealing effect!
