Internet restrictions in Xinjiang have been in place for nearly 6 months, and only now are services being gradually restored. Our office has only one computer that can access the Internet; it was with great difficulty that we got a chance to check it out. The first thing I checked was Haichuan – but why has it been downgraded? It turns out it’s the first year of high school! Depressed.
