Add buffer tanks and drain water frequently during operation
If the delivery pipeline is very long, buffer tanks must be installed at certain points, and several hydrogen water seals should also be added along the pipeline. As long as the design of these water seals is proper, it should be possible to address the problems caused by water accumulation.
When designing long-distance hydrogen pipelines, attention should be paid to the slope of the pipelines, and a hydrogen drainage seal should be installed at the lower part of the pipeline； Additionally, strengthen management in operational control and conduct regular inspections of the hydrogen water seal.
(1) If the pipeline is long, add a water collection tank at regular intervals to allow for periodic drainage. (2) After electrolysis, the liquid is cooled using an intercooler; the water collection tanks collect the liquid, and an overflow mechanism is installed. (3) After passing through the scrubber and being compressed by a hydrogen compressor, the mixture is separated into vapor and liquid, with periodic drainage from the liquid phase
