I’m attending the bidding process for the packing tower used in the company’s projects today! Sulzer, TianDa, and another company in Suzhou – a total of 4 sections of packing. The foreign patent holder recommended using Sulzer Mellapak Plus 252Y. According to the calculations done by the software, the pressure drop is only 15 mba, but the capacity is greater than 80%. Greater than 80% makes flooding likely ； Switch to 202Y; it is said that its efficiency is not as good as that of 252Y, but it can handle a larger volume of work! Judging from the performance of these 3 companies, it is estimated that Sulzer will win the bid!
