Modification of pdsoft database

I want to modify the database of PDSoft. It can be opened in Excel, but I’m unable to save it in the original DBF format. What should I do? ? ?
Open it using Access in Office; Access is a database system that is compatible with FoxPro. By using it to rewrite PDSoft’s database, there will be no issues with saving.

Can it be understood that using Access within Office to modify PDSOFT’s database is equivalent to updating the database? For example, GB/T8163-1987 can be updated to GB/T8163-2008 using this method
