Where are half-pipe fittings used?

Our company has acquired a new batch of half-pipe fittings that meet the GB14383 dn40 sch80 standards; I’m not sure what applications exist for fittings of such thickness Single socket pipe clamp.
It’s a fitting, used on small pipes that are connected to larger pipes.
Half-pipe fittings can be used for connecting main pipes in pipelines below DN40 under low-temperature and low-pressure conditions
It seems that every large project has a table of branch connections; at different levels, branches with pipes of various sizes have different connection methods, such as spiral/spigot-welded tees, spiral/welded branches, and so on.
