In simple terms, it’s mainly a matter of finding a balance between the air distribution effect and the amount of material carried away. When air distribution is optimal, the pores become larger, which speeds up the temperature rise in the vaporization layer and facilitates gas production; however, this also results in more material being carried away. If the furnace conditions deteriorate and the operating skills are not sufficient, the equipment can be damaged in a short period of time. The same applies in reverse
