For the first series, when the pressure is below 1.0 MPA, the water is directed to the slag tank; before shutting off the water supply, the manual valve leading to the slag tank should be closed, while the manual valve leading to the flashing system should be opened. At the same time, the backpressure of the angle valve needs to be controlled. Once the pressure reaches 1.0 MPA, the angle valve should be fully opened to allow water to flow into the flashing system, and the pressure and level in the flashing system must be controlled. For the second series, as well, when the pressure is below 1.0 MPA, the water is sent to the slag tank. As the pressure increases, the water is directed to the start-up cooler; the pressure here should be slightly higher than that in the first series, so that the water can be fed into the flashing system.
