Even after modifying the air ducts according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the air volume remains insufficient, even though the fan has sufficient power. What could be the problem?
1. Evaluate the wind pressure and air volume of the fan to draw a conclusion. 2. Is the inlet resistance of the fan too high? 3. The distance between the fan’s air inlet and surrounding buildings should not be too close; it is generally recommended to keep it at more than 1.7 meters.
1. Measure the motor speed. 2. Measure the fan head pressure. 3. Check whether there are any debris blocking the air chamber and air caps.
Thank you all for your advice. I found that if the fan dampers are fully open, the current will overload.
4# Is there a path to heaven? Once those air doors are fully open, will there be enough airflow? If the air volume is insufficient, it indicates that the motor power is too low or the resistance in the air duct is too high ; If there is sufficient air flow, you can gradually close the damper until the current no longer exceeds the limit. After that, check whether the air flow is still sufficient. If it is sufficient at this point, it means that the original opening degree of the damper was not enough; if the air flow is not sufficient, it indicates that the resistance in the air ducts remains high.
This situation may be caused by insufficient wind pressure! Take a look at the wind pressure, and calculate the resistance of the supply duct… It should be set to a higher value! Because the situation on site is very uncertain when supplying air……
