The temperature of the butterfly valves used in the circulating water of the dechlorination tower is difficult to control. I would like to ask what kind of valve would be better suitable for regulating this temperature
It can be adjusted using a butterfly valve; after all, it’s just circulating water, so there’s no need to spend a lot of money on a control valve. Use a pneumatically actuated control butterfly valve
Butterfly valves are suitable for regulating large flow rates, as they offer a high degree of adjustability; however, it can be difficult to determine the exact opening degree. I’m not sure what the diameter is in your case, nor what type of actuation mechanism is being used on site. If a butterfly valve is to be used for regulation, it’s better to set the opening degree at around 20-30 degrees, which might yield better results.
