How do you pressure test a new valve?
This should be tested with special equipment, and the builder of your project will check it for you. Under normal circumstances, it is a water injection and pressure test.
This requires making a matching flange and welding a pressed joint at the same time. Use special pressing equipment to press it to the maximum shut-off differential pressure to see if there are no leaks. If old valves are frequently repaired or new valves are inspected, some conventional matching verification flanges should be available. At the same time, don't try to be simple and convenient when pressing. The cushion must be according to the pressure level and all the bolts must be installed, otherwise it will be easier to cause accidents.
Pressure needs to be divided into several steps. You can open the diameter first. After the pressure reaches the requirement, maintain the pressure for 10 minutes to check whether there is any leakage. The second step is to close the valve tightly and pressurize one side of the valve to check for leaks. Finally, test pressure on the other side.
Suppression, and kerosene leakage test!
Valve pressure test is divided into strength pressure test and tightness pressure test.
How did you send the picture? Originally, I sent the picture of the pressure test of the valve here for you to see.
Strength test: I know that the normal pressure test is to test water pressure at 1.5 times and air pressure at 1.1 to 1.2 times for leakage testing.: Different valves are different
If the valves have been tested and certified when they leave the factory, there is no need to retest them. 1. In fact, new valves only need to have a certificate of conformity when installed on a new system, and the new system will be uniformly pressure tested. 2. If the system is old and has a certificate, you can check the pressure gauge and time after installation. Generally there shouldn't be a problem.
There is a special pressure testing machine for valve pressure testing, or you can make some simple molds yourself. For pressure testing methods, please refer to SH3518-2000.
Under normal circumstances, the shell is sealed with 1.5 times the channel pressure. You can also choose low-pressure air seals. Other seals can be sealed with high-pressure air pressure, which is 1.1 times.
