Glass fiber pipe

I would like to ask everyone: Is a glass fiber pipe the same as what is commonly referred to as a fiberglass reinforced plastic pipe? What is its coefficient of expansion? Is it necessary to use some kind of compensation mechanism for long-distance pipelines? Thank you all
I don’t understand the coefficient of expansion. But those used for long-distance transmission need to have expansion bends.
