What kind of instrumentation books should those working in process design read?

What kind of instrumentation books should those working in process design read? I’ve only been working for a little over a year. Recently, I went out with an experienced colleague to do some configuration work, and everything was so confusing to me. Could anyone suggest some books I should read? It would be great if the recommendations were specific. Thank you.
I remember that the installation CD for the configuration includes tutorials; you can give it a try – what’s written there is quite useful
The materials provided by the manufacturer are all in English, and I don’t really understand the basic concepts; it seems very difficult. Are there any textbooks available?
