Problems with emptying formaldehyde storage tanks

May I ask: How should the emptying of formaldehyde storage tanks be configured? Are flame arresters and vent valves necessary? Is it still necessary to have a absorption device, so that it can be released directly into the air?
A pressure relief device, such as a pressure valve, can be installed on the top of the tank. As for formaldehyde, it must not be released directly into the atmosphere; it needs to be recovered and processed first
Generally, storage tanks need to be equipped with flame arresters and vent valves. The storage tank used by the poster can be one equipped with a floating plate, which completely isolates air from formaldehyde, thus eliminating the need to install a flame arrestor. It’s much safer in comparison; it just depends on whether your boss is willing to spend money or not
It’s not up to you to decide; if there is excessive emission of gaseous substances, floating roof tanks must be used. As for choosing a vent valve, one equipped with a flame arrester can be considered
If discharge is necessary, then recycling or treatment via a flare must be considered!
Use a breathing valve equipped with a flame arrester, with the outlet pipe of the valve connected to the absorption treatment unit. Or use a liquid-sealed tank, with the outlet leading to the absorption unit.
