Our company has built a new factory facility. Due to the large number of installations, it was designed by several design firms. However, each firm applied different stamping procedures to the drawings; for some pressure vessels, no stamps were applied at all； Let’s discuss whether there are unified regulations regarding the stamping of drawings, or whether each design institute has its own rules.
Construction drawings, or blueprints, must all bear an official seal; those without such a seal are considered invalid drawings. This is not a requirement set by the design institute. The drawings for pressure vessels must also bear the official seal by the design department qualified to carry out design work.
Drawings without stamps will be rejected; if the design institute fails to meet the requirements, things will naturally be handled in accordance with the rules
Generally, construction drawings must be stamped with the company’s seal. If it is pressure vessels, pressure pipelines, etc. Seals for qualifications such as pressure vessel permits are also required. The design unit that has not stamped the drawings is not liable. Acceptance and quality inspection also do not approve it. Sometimes, the construction party also rejects the drawings and refuses to proceed with the construction. Of course, if you do private work. Party A and Party B have reached an agreement. I won’t stamp it then. Of course, it won’t be accepted either!
Stamping is **mandatory, and the design unit must comply with it. If it’s a private project, the client is fully responsible.
Both pressure vessels and pressure pipelines must have a license stamp; without it, the construction party or the client will refuse to accept them. This is because if the drawings lack such a stamp, and errors occur during construction based on those drawings, the design institute can avoid taking any responsibility

It is not allowed for pressure vessels to lack a stamp; the relevant regulations stipulate that a stamp approving the design of the pressure vessel must be applied to its design drawings (copies of such stamps are invalid), and a stamp indicating that the drawings are complete must also be used on the final drawings.

The drawings of pressure vessels must be stamped with the seal of an entity qualified to design such vessels. Many of the drawings available on site are not proper; some are just plain drawings that are given directly to the construction parties for work to begin, which is not in accordance with standards
I believe that all design drawings should be stamped with the official seal of the design agency. In addition, pressure vessel drawings must be stamped with the seal indicating competence in pressure vessel design, pressure pipeline drawings must be stamped with the seal for pressure pipeline design, and structural drawings must be stamped with the seal of a registered structural engineer, etc. The dates of signing these drawings must also fall within the valid period of the stamps (in other words, the stamps cannot be expired). After completion, the construction company’s completion seal must also be applied.
