This post was last edited by li*ch1968 on 2009-12-19 at 18:17. Should water inlet and outlet valves be used before and after the pressure relief valve? Is it necessary to install piping like a drain trap?
A drain valve is generally installed in front of the pressure relief valve, and its piping is basically the same as that of a steam trap.
Is there a lot of condensate in front of the pressure relief valve? There shouldn’t be much water there; why add a drain valve?
