A wireless ad hoc network, namely MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network), is a technology that differs from traditional wireless communication networks. Traditional wireless cellular communication networks require fixed network devices such as base stations to facilitate data transmission and user service control. Wireless ad-hoc networks, on the other hand, do not require fixed devices for support; the various nodes, which are the user terminals, form the network on their own. During communication, data is forwarded by other user nodes. This type of network overcomes the geographical limitations of traditional wireless cellular networks, allowing for faster, more convenient, and efficient deployment; it is suitable for communication needs in emergency situations, such as individual soldier communication systems on the battlefield. However, wireless ad-hoc networks also have drawbacks such as limited network bandwidth, poor support for real-time services, and low security.
