The biological oil and grease remover utilizes the world’s most advanced biotechnology; it is a modern, environmentally friendly, efficient, and professional metal surface cleaning agent that combines the functions of removing surface oils with breaking down those oils. Biological degreasers, with their advantages such as zero energy consumption, low cost, high efficiency, and environmental friendliness, will become the trend in the development of degreasers for metal surfaces in the future. Biological oil and fat removers are composed of main components such as biological surfactants, biological enzymes, and microbial strains, with no chemical ingredients at all. These three components carry out their functions separately while also working together in coordination. ● Bio-surfactants: These are extracellular extracts produced by hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria that possess surfactant properties; they can significantly reduce the surface tension between a solution and hydrocarbons as well as the critical micelle concentration, thereby facilitating the formation of micelles. During the formation of micelles, emulsification occurs, allowing hydrocarbons (oil stains) to be dispersed in the aqueous phase. The molecular structure of biological surfactants is more complex than that of chemical surfactants; they have a higher molecular weight and more functional groups. The biosurfactant used in C3 is currently the most advanced in the world and holds international patents. ● Enzymes: Enzymes are proteins produced by mature microorganisms; they can break down oil molecules with long and complex molecular chains into molecules with short and simple molecular chains under normal temperature and pressure, thereby facilitating the breakdown and digestion of these oil molecules by the microorganisms. Once microorganisms have enough oil molecules to feed on, they grow and reproduce rapidly; the matured microorganisms then produce enzymes, thus maintaining a continuous cycle. ● Microorganisms: The biological oil and fat removal agents utilize the most advanced, efficient, and specialized strains available worldwide – spore-forming bacillus strains that are capable of effectively breaking down all types of mineral oils such as rust inhibitors, cutting oils, stamping fluids, coolants, and lubricants. These strains can efficiently and specifically degrade the long molecular chains of mineral oils, while also possessing a strong ability to produce enzymes.
