Building energy efficiency is the direction of development for the coming period. When it comes to building energy efficiency, many people think it is something related to the construction parties and has little to do with their own lives, but this is not necessarily the case. In energy consumption, over 50% of the energy is lost through the doors and windows of buildings. Imagine, if our door and window systems could be improved, the energy saved would be considerable. (1) High energy consumption of doors and windows: Windows are a major source of energy consumption in buildings. When solar energy enters the interior through windows, part of it is reflected by the glass in the windows and does not enter the room; part of it is absorbed by the windows themselves, and some more is absorbed by the walls. Of the energy that enters a building, a portion of it returns to nature through the windows; the amount of this returning energy determines the extent of energy waste in the building. With ordinary doors and windows, energy waste accounts for 52% of the total energy loss in buildings, which is a significant figure that deserves in-depth study. (II) It is urgent to raise public awareness of energy efficiency in doors and windows. When it comes to energy efficiency in windows, both the glass and the window frames need to be taken into consideration. When decorating new homes, very few people consider energy efficiency for household appliances. Many people focus their efforts on the floor, walls, and interior decorations, spending a lot of money on these aspects, but many homeowners still do not consider energy efficiency when it comes to windows. When it comes to home renovation, many people do not take into account the energy-saving aspects of door and window systems; in the concept of \"comfort\" for many homeowners, energy savings is not included. The author believes that this is a major obstacle on the path to energy efficiency in buildings. Widespread adoption by the public is the foundation for the rapid development of building energy efficiency. How to raise awareness about the severe consequences of energy waste in buildings, and how to encourage people to purchase energy-efficient products, are issues that need to be addressed. Building energy efficiency cannot rely solely on glass manufacturers and door and window producers; it requires the efforts of the entire society. Should more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly door and window products be used in building construction? Should homeowners also give more consideration to the energy-saving performance of windows when renovating their homes? Although energy-efficient doors and windows may be relatively expensive, the benefits in the long run are significant. Energy conservation not only means saving energy, but also helps to reduce substantial expenses related to heating, cooling, and other such costs. On the path to supporting energy conservation, each of us should approach this issue with a longer-term perspective. We offer energy-saving design services!
