What does FIRCA mean?

This post was last edited by qazxsw119 on 2009-12-21 at 12:45. In P&ID diagrams, what does “FIRCA” mean when it is written inside a circle? What do TRA, PIR, TIRA, and FIC mean respectively? Also, on an air pipeline, it is written as “Φ650-FA-316LSS×4t (Rockwool 100t)”. Apart from the pipe diameter and material, what does FA mean? Thank you!
F represents flow rate, T represents temperature, and P represents pressure. I—indication, R—recording, C—control, A—alarm. Thus, TRA, PIR, TIRA, and FIC correspond respectively to: temperature recording alarm, pressure indication recording, temperature indication recording alarm, and flow rate indication control； “In “Φ650-FA-316LSS×4t (Rockwool 100t)”, FA probably refers to \"air\" as you mentioned. I’m not an expert in this area; this is just my personal opinion for reference only
Check the first one in the PID; the symbols and instructions in the second one will make it clear – all design institutes are more or less similar.
All PID values come with legends; you can just take a look.
