The 4.3-meter ramming system for the second phase of our plant has been fully put into use. Areas such as the coke transfer section 2 and the coke screening building generate a lot of dust, and we have not installed any dust removal facilities there. Are there any good methods and facilities available in this area that require low investment?
According to the regulations, dust removal is required at coke screening transfer stations and coke screening buildings; a bag filter will suffice, and it won’t cost much. It will consume some electricity in the long run, but it is beneficial for the environment as well as the working conditions of the workers.
It is feasible to use a bag filter here, but due to the high environmental humidity, a waterproof filter media should be selected.
Dust removal is definitely necessary; bag filters are commonly used for this purpose. However, pulse-type filters have high maintenance costs. It is recommended to use one-way or three-state valves that utilize air backwashing, as this reduces maintenance costs and eliminates the need for large amounts of compressed air

The new coke ovens currently in use generally employ sieve-based ground stations for dust removal; dust collection inlets are installed at various transfer points and at the locations where dust is generated, and this approach yields good results. Wet dust removal methods are not effective, so our factory has switched to these other methods
