I have been working in construction management for four years. I’m confused about the main tasks related to electrical work, bidding, as well as cost estimation and budgeting. I have worked on several large projects. In a half-dead state-owned construction company. But my parents spent all their life savings on buying a house for me… Sometimes I feel that I’ve made progress technically, and that I’m not bad at what I do… But what does that mean in the context of an entire life? It’s a rather awkward position to be in.
Take advantage of your youth to gain as much experience as possible. State-owned enterprises also have their advantages; they help to develop and train people, even in difficult circumstances. When you have the ability or experience to change your situation, you can contribute to your company or find another path – after all, you’re still making a contribution.
Don’t be too pessimistic; although the conditions in state-owned enterprises are somewhat worse, they serve as a platform for training talents without any cost. While you’re young, seize the opportunity to learn as much as you can, then go out into the world – your future will surely be boundless.

Life is about the process; the experiences we accumulate become our wealth in the future. But no matter what we do in the future, it’s important to have a positive attitude!
Calling your parents more often is the best comfort for them. A true man aspires to achieve great things; I hope you work hard, as that will be the best way to repay your parents
I feel the same! Actually, there’s no need to overthink it. Set a goal for yourself; state-owned enterprises are also great places for personal development. Keep improving yourself by obtaining various certificates. Once your skills improve, will you still worry about not having good opportunities? Gold will shine wherever it is!
