How are the pre-welded components of the ladder connected to the tower equipment, and are shims required? What is the specific structure like? Thank you!
Shims need to be added; the structure is simple – it’s just one plate. For example: 250x300 with a radius bend, and then a vent hole is drilled in it.
We are on-site at the tower units; they are all of the same type. The pre-welded components of the ladder platforms on the tower body: some have backing plates, but most do not! I also raised objections to this, but couldn’t find a theoretical basis! !
Shims should be used, and those shims also need to have holes drilled for ventilation; however, this step is often omitted in actual production.

The ventilation holes can be omitted, but 20 mm must remain unwelded at the lowest point of the backing plate for ventilation purposes during welding.
Pre-welded parts need to be added to reduce local stress concentration
Heat treatment equipment should come with shims; it’s hard to say for equipment that isn’t used for heat treatment, but using shims is a good practice. It seems like there won’t be any major problems if it’s not added.
