I want to perform electroless copper plating on steel, but there are certain areas where I don’t want copper to be plated there. Is there any suitable coating or similar material that can be used to prevent copper plating in those areas? The coating is required to be removable relatively easily.
Butyl rubber strippable paint can be used; this paint has strong corrosion resistance and good electrical insulation properties, although its adhesion is poor, which is sufficient to meet the requirements.
