It depends on what kind of tray you are installing. Taking the float valve tray as an example: 1 First, when installing the float valve, the valve legs must be installed straight. If they are skewed, they will easily get stuck during operation, which will inevitably affect the operation of the tray. 2. When installing the tray, the ball level should be high. In this way, gas-liquid exchange can be even and effective. 3. The installation of the tray requires a certain degree of compactness to ensure that it does not leak. 4. The tray must be installed firmly, otherwise the tray will be easily blown over when blowing the tower, which will affect the fractionation effect. If it is a packed tower, the packing must be stacked evenly, and the regular packing must be placed flat. The installation of the liquid distributor in the packed tower tray is particularly important and must be smooth, smooth and uniform, otherwise the fractionation effect will be seriously affected.

Pay attention to the direction when installing the tray. Generally, the opening should face the overflow. The installation should be kept level and firm. At the same time, do not drop anything (wrench or crowbar) underneath to avoid disassembly and removal (I made a mistake when installing the float valve tray for the first time, haha).

The tray shall be manufactured and installed for acceptance in accordance with JB/T1205-2001 "Technical Conditions for Tray".

The technical requirements for tray installation are:: ⒈The installation positions of trays, clamps and gaskets are accurate ； ⒉The trays are connected evenly without obvious concave and convex deformation. ； ⒊All bolts are complete and tightened ； ⒋The float valve is complete and there is no sticking or falling off.

The tray is usually installed by the manufacturer. In fact, the installation is very simple. Just pay attention to the opening direction and don’t push it backwards. Tighten the bolts and complete the float valve.

The installation level of the tray is required to be high, and the float valve must be flexible.

Pay attention to the bottom gap of the downdraft plate and whether the value of the horizontal gap is within the error range. ； 4. Are the clips or bolts and nuts tight? 5. If it is a packed tower, pay special attention to whether the liquid distributor distribution pipe or liquid collection device is installed under the correct packing section. We have discovered this problem before. Once installed incorrectly, it will have a great impact on the liquid distribution, because the distributor openings in each section are different.
