Problems with the installation of instrument cables in workshops

My workshop has about 500 instruments with readings. When running cables from the DCS cabinet room to the field instruments, is it better to first run a 24-core bus cable to the field distribution box and then run 2-core cables from there to the field instruments, or is it better to directly run 2-core cables from the DCS cabinet room to the field instruments without using a distribution box? How is it arranged in the workshop now? Please help take a look.

First, determine the appropriate location for the distribution box based on the placement of the meters on site; then run a 24-core bus from the control room to the field distribution box, and subsequently run 2-core cables to each of the field meters. That’s the process.
It is best to have an intermediate junction box (explosion-proof). In the event of suspicion of a cable short circuit or ground fault, the cables at both ends can be checked by using the intermediate junction box as a boundary. If a problem is found, a smaller amount of wiring can be used.
