Are there any relevant standards or guidelines regarding the replacement cycle of blast valves under conditions of low corrosion?
It should be replaced every two years under normal use; once replaced, it can no longer be used
On page P346, line 4 of Part 1 of the Process Piping Installation Design Manual, it states: “...Therefore, under normal operating conditions, it should be replaced regularly even if it does not crack (usually at least once a year)...””
So it needs to be replaced at least once a year?
