1. During the commissioning of the centrifugal ammonia compressor, we filtered and circulated the oil before starting it up, but the oil did not reach the compressor. When it seemed that the quality of the oil was not good enough, we decided to connect the oil pipeline to the ammonia compressor in order to circulate the oil there. However, we are using a dry gas seal; do we still need to use this dry gas seal while circulating the oil? 2 refers to how to conduct static pressure testing for dry gas seals. 3 concerns the pipes used in dry gas seals; during installation, what measures should be taken to ensure that there are no impurities in the pipes or the gas
The dry gas seal is separate from the bearing housing, so oil does not enter the dry gas seal. Dry gas seals from reputable manufacturers do not require pressure testing.
